David E. Newman, M.D.

Personal Statment "I enjoy caring for the women of Charlotte, Concord, and the surrounding regions."

My wife Sylvia is a professor of French Literature. I have three children: Kevin, Nicole and Andrew who are the joy of my life.

My philosophy toward caring for you is that we are a team together. I want to address problems that are common to each stage of life to see if you are having similar challenges. It is my goal to help you live a healthy and happy life by avoiding problems. By being proactive I have found we can maximize your emotional and physical well being.

My special project has been to write the book 'Women's Health: Your guide to a Healthier and Happier Life. This book is 350 pages of very useful information for women from adolescence through menopause.

The areas of medicine I most enjoy are helping you through pregnancy, pelvic pain, and helping couples through challenging situations (marital discord). I enjoy these because I am able to significantly improve your quality of life by identifying the problem, and working with you to find a simple treatment you are happy with.

I look forward to seeing you, and thank all who come to see me now.
