Women without medical problems, including prior pregnancy complications, generally fall into a low risk pregnancy category. This generally means that your prenatal care will involve

  • 10 - 12 prenatal office visits,
  • one ultrasound in the second trimester, and
  • 2 - 3 laboratory visits requiring a blood draw.

You and your partner will see a physician for each visit and will have the opportunity to ask questions. Take a look at our handouts section and patient booklet for more detailed descriptions of what to expect from us during your office visits.

We look forward to caring for you and your baby!
